Liquid Tension Experiment. Dream Theater with a less Asian bassist and no "screaming bitch voice" singer to ruin things.
They've been making music periodically for 11 years. A small sampling.

The last one begins with Rudess on keyboards and Tony Levin playing Chapman Stick.

Never really liked this band...but this is a pretty good cover.

That guy can belt out those lyrics for sure.

Myles Kennedy has one of the best rock voices since Ian Gillian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am CONSTANTLY trying to emulate his tone and hidden vibrato. FUCKING AMAZING.

He was also the dude in Rock Star...

you should listen to his Mayfield Four stuff too...

and these are fucking great...

These guys (Japanese), Maserati (from Georgia I think, they lost their drummer in a car accident a month later, total balls), and an experimental cellist named Helen Money. It was a completely instrumental show and likely my favorite night of 2009.
