Since some people are sensitive about hearing about content that they'd love to see if they were in beta themselves, I'm going to put all my spoilerific beta info in this thread.

Hyjal

• Ysera - is awake (and has a hot new model a la Alexstrasza) and at Nordrassil. The Twilight's Hammer has summoned Geddon, Ragnaros and the like and are burning shit down.
• You also rescue Aviana from the Twilight Dragonflight. Basically, a new faction called the Guardians of Hyjal are resurrecting all of the gods and demigods that died in the War of the Ancients.
• Cenarius is alive again, too.
• Fandral Staghelm has been betraying the crap out of everyone with all that Morrowgrain the Alliance have been turning in for rep. You find him locked in a barrow den surrounded by Maiev lookalikes and are asked to deliver him to the Green Dragonflight.

Vashj'ir

• Tentacles. Kind of boring otherwise but they do give you a mount.

Gilneas

• Looks fabulous. Love the Victorian setting.
• When you start your character, you aren't infected yet. You get a debuff called "Bite" that gets progressively worse as you complete quests. Eventually you turn.
• MAJOR SPOILER - So there's this questgiver in Gilneas named Lord Godfrey. He's killed at the Greymane Wall and raised by the Forsaken. He is not happy about this at all. So he kills Sylvanas. No really, he kills her. But the Val'kyr resurrect her. Godfrey is likely to be a boss in the level 85 version of Shadowfang Keep.

Kezan/Lost Isles

• Full of pop culture references, such as "GET TO DA GYROCHOPPAH! DO IT NOW!"
• You spend about the first 6 levels on Kezan, then you are shipwrecked in the Lost Isles where you meet Thrall and the orcs. Around level 12 you are sent to Orgrimmar. From there you'll quest in Azshara til I'm guessing around 25.

Azshara

• Another poop quest.
• There's a rocketway which makes traveling fairly easy.
• Giant cannon pointed at probably Stormwind.
• Remember Azuregos? Well the Black Dragonflight are hunting him down. You help Kalecgos find him. He does not like Kalecgos.

More stuffs added from the latest build.

The Forsaken - Conquered undeath and have been complete dicks about it ever since. Lends a great dynamic to the faction.

And the Worgen haaaaaate the Forsaken. Who can blame them really, first they're invaded by werewolves, then they're invaded by undead. Then Sylvanas sort of accidentally kills their prince with an arrow to the face and starts launching plague barrels into town.

You really can't blame the Forsaken for being ruthless either. Garrosh ordered them to invade Gilneas. This wasn't something they decided to do for fun. Then, when they figure out a way to sustain their population in the face of massive casualties, Garrosh is all like "ABOMINATION." Fuck that guy, at least orcs can still reproduce the natural way. Clearly Garrosh ordered this attack in hopes of dwindling the numbers of Forsaken down to a less threatening amount. It's eugenics by warfare.

I actually love Garrosh's role in Cata. He's supposed to be a thoroughgoing douche and entirely divisive, and he is. Beats having yet another boring mary sue as a leader.

Wow....that only took...what?....6 years?
